Emma Golesworthy, Manager & Garda Vetting Liaison Officer
Emma is the Manager of Meath Volunteer Centre and is responsible for the day-to-day management of the Centre.
She is one of the Centre’s volunteer management trainers and is also our appointed Garda Vetting Liaison Officer.
In addition to her managerial duties, Emma focuses on building and developing relationships with local volunteer-involving organisations,
supporting them to identify potential volunteering opportunities within their organisation, and offering advice on all aspects of volunteer management.
Emma is also responsible for the effective recruitment and training of volunteers.

Caroline Smith, Placement Officer
Caroline is our Placement Officer. She joined the team in 2017 and is responsible for volunteer recruitment,
matching volunteers with suitable opportunities, and supporting them throughout their volunteering experience.
She offers advice and support to both volunteers and non-profit organisations across a wide range of services including information, consultation, volunteer management, and training.
Caroline also promotes volunteering across the community through reach-outs, presentations, workshops, and conferences.

Laura Campbell, Volunteer Development Officer
Laura joined the team in 2022 and supports volunteer-involving organisations as well as community groups throughout the county.
Her role includes developing volunteer role descriptions, facilitating community groups in service provision, and promoting volunteering through outreach, presentations, workshops, and conferences.
Laura is also an appointed Garda Vetting Liaison Officer.
